Art collection
The art collection of De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) may be characterised as unorthodox and contemporary. Consisting of more than 1,200 works of art representing a variety of disciplines and styles, the collection offers a good overview of leading trends in contemporary art. DNB’s art collection includes works by Marlène Dumas, Celine van Balen, Bas Meerman, Matthew Monahan, Michael Raedecker, Michael Kirkham en Kiki Lamers.
Art policy
DNB collects young contemporary art of excellent quality. In addition to helping to create an inspiring working ambience for its staff, DNB is actively committed to stimulating the art climate in the Netherlands. The Art Commission is responsible for DNB’s art policy.

Exhibition programme
De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) regularly organises exhibitions. On the one hand, these offer a stage for young artists to showcase their works and on the other they allow employees to become acquainted with developments in modern visual art. By appointment, the exhibitions are also open to members of the public.
