Financial undertakings such as banks, (re)insurers, pension funds and Collective investment schemes must have an authorisation to be active on the financial markets. These undertakings can be found in the undermentioned overview (register).

This register distinguishes into various categories of financial undertakings which listed hereinafter. By category of the undertaking you can search by name of the undertaking.

A financial undertaking may have several authorisations. The register states which activities an undertaking is allowed to carry out. A bank may have an authorisation to offer banking products as well as one for insurance products.
