Research publications

De Nederlandsche Bank publishes its research findings in a range of periodicals and series, the most important of which you’ll find below. For a full list of our publications go to News and Publications.

Research programme

Research at the Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) is integrated into a single research programme structured around six themes that serve to give DNB’s research more critical mass and focus, and avoid undue fragmentation. DNB also offers scope for other projects, subject to relevancy. The results of DNB’s academic research are reported on in the DNB Working Papers series, which serve as a gateway to publication in international professional journals.

DNB Research Seminars

De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) organiseert regelmatig seminars waar de resultaten van eigen of extern onderzoek worden gepresenteerd. Deze seminars zijn toegankelijk voor externe wetenschappers en andere geïnteresseerden.

Microdata for research

Under strict conditions, external researchers may use DNB’s data on individual institutions, i.e. the microdata. For each research project, these data are anonymised for secrecy purposes. DNB offers the microdata for research in close cooperation with Statistics Netherlands (CBS).

International Journal of Central Banking

The International Journal of Central Banking (IJCB) is an initiative of the central banking community.
