Short Bio

Carin van der Cruijsen has been working at De Nederlandsche Bank since 2004. In 2008 she completed her PhD thesis: “The Economic Impact of Central Bank Transparency” (supervised by Professor Eijffinger and Professor Hoogduin). Currently, Carin combines policy work and research at the Economics and Research Division of DNB. She works on topics like central bank communication and the labour market.
