Smaller, local initiatives

The DNB Fund targets initiatives in the Caribbean (Curaçao, Aruba, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba), in Suriname and in the Netherlands. The Fund focuses on smaller projects with a local character, initiated by foundations, civic groups, individuals or others. The projects have the potential to contribute to improving the living conditions of descendants of enslaved people. They can receive contributions ranging from €500 to €25,000 from the DNB fund for their initiative. The DNB Fund aims to allocate contributions with a balanced distribution per geographical area.

Criteria available, allocation from September

More information, including acceptance criteria, can be found on the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds website. The first funding allocations are scheduled for September.
