Short Bio

Carin van der Cruijsen is an economist who combines research at the Research Division and the Payment Policy Division. Her main area of expertise is consumer behaviour. At the moment her research particularly focuses on topics like trust in financial institutions and consumer payment behaviour. Her research has been published in a wide range of journals reflecting her different research interests, such as IMF Economic Review, Journal of Economic Psychology, Journal of Financial Stability and the Journal of Consumer Affairs.
