Housing and Credit Dynamics: Causes and Consequences

De Nederlandsche Bank is organizing its 12th Annual Research Conference on 15-16 October 2009 in Amsterdam. This year the topic is 'Housing and Credit Dynamics: Causes and Consequences'. Housing and credit markets play a pivotal role in the economy and are important for supervisors, consumers and policy-makers.

This conference brings together academics and policymakers from the Netherlands and abroad to present and discuss the implications of ongoing research on housing and credit markets. Invited speakers are Matteo Iacoviello (Boston College), Alexander Michaelides (London School of Economics) and John Muellbauer (Nuffield College, Oxford).
