In our ongoing supervision of investment firms and investment funds we regularly find that elements of capital do not comply with the applicable laws and regulations.
When elements of capital do not meet the quality requirements under the CRR, an institution may not have enough capital to cover its risks. If we establish a capital deficit, we will take enforcement action. The presentation below explains some of the key principles of the CRR capital requirements.
