Anyone wishing to provide insurance services in the Netherlands must either hold the appropriate authorisation issued by DNB or be exempted from the authorisation requirement.
You can submit your application through Supervisory applications on My DNB, for which you need e-Herkenning (e-Recognition). Be sure to complete the form truthfully and in full, and add all required documentation as an annex to the form.
The explanatory notes to the form provide more details and describe what we expect from you, so please refer to them when completing the form. (Tip!)
We can assess your application only if you submit a fully and correctly completed application form and enclose all the required documents. If you fail to do this, we will have to ask you to supplement your application. The thirteen-week consideration period will then be suspended. This means that the time we need to consider your application greatly depends on the standard of your application and the attached documents.
