Statistics Netherlands (CBS) and the De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) have for some time joined forces in compiling their statistics as efficiently and reliably as possible. As part of these efforts, the population of non-financial companies (NFVs) subject to reporting requirements will be fully aligned to the population of Statistics Netherlands. This harmonisation will enable DNB tocompile better statistics from fewer reports.
As of 1 January 2011, a concern should report in its Dra report via e-Line BB on behalf of all its legal entities established in the Netherlands of which it has predominant control (more than 50 percent). Legal entities that have not been classified as an NFV by the CBS and DNB form an exception and should not be included in the report. Consequently, a large number of separate reporting obligations will expire on 31 December 2010.
In July 2010, DNB willsend further information on the forthcoming adjustments to its known contact persons by e-mail. Please notify us of any changes in the contact persons by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Companies that will be exempted as of 31 December 2010 will receive notification to this effect in early November 2010.
Should you have any questions about the forthcoming changes, please refer them to your account manager at DNB.
