Register trust offices
A trust office provides, in the course of its business, trust services, including:
- acting as director of a legal entity or partner in a partnership, or
- selling legal entities, or
- acting as trustee, or
- providing an address or correspondence address to a legal entity or partnership, provided that additional activities are also performed as listed in section 1 of the Supervision of Trust Offices Act (Wet toezicht trustkantoren).
Under the Supervision of Trust Offices Act, trust offices engaging in the provision of trust services in the Netherlands must have a licence or must have been granted exemption from the licensing requirement.
