With DFROG, the nowcasting model of DNB, we make an estimate of the current development of the Dutch economy.
This short-term estimate of the growth rate of the gross domestic product (gdp) in volumes is based on a large number of monthly economic and financial data and indicators, such as consumer and producer confidence.
The DFROG estimate is a mechanical projection to monitor the economic development and not an official projection as we publish in June and December.
