Chris Figee appointed to DNB Supervisory Board from 1 March

Chris Figee will join the Supervisory Board of De Nederlandsche Bank from 1 March. Figee has been appointed by Finance minister Eelco Heinen on behalf of the shareholder on the nomination of DNB’s Supervisory Board, for an initial four-year term. He is filling the vacancy that had arisen for a member with a financial sector profile.

Chris Figee

Chris Figee has long worked in the financial sector. Since 2020, he has been Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of the Board of Management at KPN N.V. Before that, he held the position of CFO and member of the Executive Board at a.s.r. Nederland N.V. Earlier in his career, he was, among other positions, director of strategy & performance management at Achmea and a partner at McKinsey & Company, where he focused on corporate finance and the European insurance and asset management sectors. Figee began his career as a portfolio manager at AEGON Levensverzekering N.V.

In addition to his current role at KPN, he has been a member of the Supervisory Board and Chair of the Audit Committee of Royal Schiphol Group N.V. since 2022. He is also a member of the South Holland Economic Board.
