We would value hearing your views if you have noticed overlap in the information and reporting requests from AFM and DNB. We have made a survey on this subject available to help us identify possible duplication.
Prompted in part by comments we received from the sector, the AFM and DNB are investigating whether and to what extent overlap exists in the information they request from supervised institutions. We seek to identify areas of overlap as perceived by supervised institutions to avoid future duplication.
This issue also came up in the external review of the AFM and DNB (in Dutch) as independent public bodies, conducted in 2021.
We therefore ask all institutions supervised by the AFM and DNB that experience unnecessary overlap in information requests from the AFM and DNB to complete the following short survey:
If you are involved in information requests from DNB, the AFM or both, we would greatly appreciate it if you completed the survey by 15 September 2022. If you have any questions, please contact us a: iforum@dnb.nl.
iForum
This investigation is an initiative of the iForum. The iForum provides an open environment for supervision and financial professionals to meet and discuss technological developments and digitalisation. It also devotes attention to the (digital) interaction between supervision and financial institutions to identify opportunities for improvement.
