Learning and discovery

Want to learn more about the economy and DNB's tasks? Or are you curious about our extraordinary art and coin collection? A range of exhibitions, installations and interactive games offer insights into issues that affect us all, such as the housing market, cybercrime and inflation.

Interactive

There are plenty of hands-on experiences in De Nieuwe Schatkamer. For example, learn what goes into setting interest rates by taking a seat in President Klaas Knot’s chair. Play the secure payments game and discover what happens when you make an electronic payment. An audiovisual experience in the former gold vault immerses you in the world of gold.

Space to exchange views

We regularly organise debates and seminars in De Nieuwe Schatkamer on social themes. Long reading tables near the coffee bar offer an enjoyable place to work, study or socialise. Outside, in the adjacent city garden, you can relax and enjoy the art and greenery around you.

If you want to know more about the economy and our tasks, if you love art and special coins, or are looking for a place to work or read in pleasant surroundings, be sure to come visit us in De Nieuwe Schatkamer.
