Play the secure payments game and discover what happens when you make an electronic payment. An audiovisual experience in the former gold vault immerses you in the world of gold.
We regularly organise debates and seminars in De Nieuwe Schatkamer on social themes. Long reading tables near the coffee bar offer an enjoyable place to work, study or socialise. Outside, in the adjacent city garden, you can relax and enjoy the art and greenery around you.

We are facing geopolitical instability with the threat of a global trade war on top of a war in Ukraine that has been raging for three years. The world has been turned upside down again in recent weeks. Understandably, this has led to high levels of anxiety and uncertainty among citizens.

On 26 March, His Majesty King Willem-Alexander will perform the official opening ceremony together with the President of De Nederlandsche Bank, Klaas Knot, in the presence of some 350 invited guests.

Chris Figee will join the Supervisory Board of De Nederlandsche Bank from 1 March. Figee has been appointed by Finance minister Eelco Heinen on behalf of the shareholder on the nomination of DNB’s Supervisory Board, for an initial four-year term.
