Households are characterised as the economy's institutional sector that consists of all natural persons who have resided in the Netherlands for one year ore more, irrespective of their nationality. Non-profit institutions serving households are characterised as the economy's institutional sector that consists of associations and foundations whose resources predominantly originate from voluntary contributions from households and income from assets.

We ask potential reporting entities in these sectors to complete a population survey form and use the information collected to decide whether a reporting requirement is necessary.
