8-9 October, 2026 - ESCB Research Cluster 2, 10th Annual Workshop: “International Macroeconomics, Fiscal Policy, Labor Economics, Competitiveness and EMU Governance”

Research Cluster 2 focuses on issues related to international macroeconomics, fiscal policy, labor economics, competitiveness and EMU governance. The annual workshop seeks to foster awareness and collaboration in research initiatives across institutions. Both theoretical and empirical submissions, covering a wide range of topics, will be considered. The workshop is open to European System of Central Banks (ESCB) and Bank of England (BoE) researchers only.

16 and 17 December 2026 - 5th XAmsterdam Macroeconomic Workshop

This is to announce that a research workshop on Macroeconomics will be held at the University of Amsterdam on 16-17 December 2026. The workshop is jointly organised by the Tinbergen Institute, De Nederlandsche Bank, the Economics Departments of Universiteit van Amsterdam and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Finn Kydland’s Laboratory for Aggregate Economics and Finance (LAEF) at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Selection process:
Both theoretical and applied papers will be considered. A decision on participation will be based on a detailed abstract or preferably on a draft paper. Only papers not yet accepted for publication should be submitted. The submission deadline is October 24, 2026. Interested authors are invited to fill the form and submit the paper (or its detailed abstract) in PDF format at the following link: https://form.jotform.com/262636103329050.
