Short bio

Daniel Jonas Schmidt is a research economist in the Economics and Research Division of DNB. He is finalizing his PhD at the University of Amsterdam. Before joining DNB, he worked at the European Central Bank in 2024–2025 as a PhD trainee and Financial Stability Analyst.

His research interests include macroeconomics, financial economics, and housing markets.
