Voor verzekeraars is Europese wetgeving en nationale wet- en regelgeving van toepassing. Ook heeft DNB toezichthouderregelingen en beleidsregels gepubliceerd. Ook de European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) publiceert richtsnoeren.

De eerste link is een meer generiek overzicht van wet- en regelgeving, waaronder Wft, voor onder toezichtstaande instellingen. De tweede link geeft in aanvulling nog specifieke regelgeving weer voor zorgverzekeraars.
