More information is available on the Fit and Proper Assessments page.
Applying for a Fit and Proper Assessment
A fit and proper assessment in the context of a licence or DNO application can be submitted through Supervisory applications in My DNB.
Decision period
The decision period for a fit and proper assessment follows the decision period of the licence or DNO application for which the assessment is carried out. The substantive assessment starts once the application is complete and all related assessment files have been submitted in full.
For fitness and propriety assessments related to a licence application, the decision period follows the decision period applicable to that licence application. For reputation assessments related to a DNO application, including cases where the DNO application is connected to a licence application, the decision period applicable to the DNO application applies.
More information about the legal decision periods for licence and DNO applications can be found on the Market Access page.
Decision
The decision on fit and proper assessments carried out in the context of a licence or DNO application is included in the decision on the relevant licence or DNO application.
If an assessment interview has taken place during the assessment process, the individuals concerned will receive individual feedback on the outcome of their assessment.
Fees
Separate fees are charged for fit and proper assessments carried out in the context of a licence or DNO application pursuant to the Financial Supervision Funding Act (Wet bekostiging financieel toezicht).
