The proposals build on the Eurosystem’s response to the European Commission’s consultation in November 2024 and are relevant to the Commission’s ongoing policy discussions on NBFI. Some of the proposed measures would require changes to European legislation, as well as continued global coordination beyond the European Union. The report also sets out a medium‑term roadmap for further developing this policy agenda.
