Banks must submit data on an annual basis. The reasons for this include the fact that DNB must be able to set banks’ contributions to the deposit guarantee fund for the Caribbean Netherlands. This data includes the number of depositors, account balances and guaranteed deposits as at year-end. Data is submitted using an Excel template. Banks simultaneously submit their balance sheet for the Caribbean Netherlands, as reported in the Chart of Accounts, for the same reporting date.
