Factsheet Investment holding company

Based on the European Prudential Framework for Investment Firms that entered into force on 26 June 2021 (IFR/IFD), your company may be subject to supervision by De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB).

Published: 11 May 2023

This is because of the interest that your company holds directly or indirectly in an investment holding company, which means your firm may qualify as an investment holding company. To assess whether your firm does indeed qualify as an investment holding company, we request you to complete the step-by-step guide and submit it with your application. While completing the step-by-step guide, if you come to the conclusion that your firm qualifies as an investment holding company, then we ask you to provide the additional documentation and assessment forms for directors and supervisory board members of the investment holding company. You will find more information in the downloads below.
