MFI Interest Rates (MIR)
Here you can find news and user documentation on MFI reporting.
We collect economic and financial data from banks. This is done at the request of and under the supervision of the European Central Bank (ECB). The ECB uses these data in different ways. For example, to define monetary policy in the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU). An important objective of the ECB’s monetary policy is to ensure stable prices within the EMU. It is therefore important that the ECB receives these data from banks.
