In principle, De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) decides on an application for authorisation of a clearing institution within 13 weeks. However, the actual consideration period depends on many factors. The quality and completeness of your application have a major bearing on the time required by DNB for assessment.
Is your application incomplete or lacking in quality? If so, DNB will allow you an extra period to supplement the application.
Please note: As soon as DNB requests further data or information to supplement the application, the consideration period will be suspended and recommence on the date on which DNB receives the requested information. If no or insufficient supplementary information is received within the period specified, DNB may decide not to consider the application.
