If you plan to acquire or expand a qualifying holding in an asset referenced token (ART) issuer or a crypto-asset service provider (CASP) (target companies), you may need prior approval. This is comparable to a declaration of no objection (DNO) for qualifying holdings in other financial sectors. The issuers of ARTs and CASPs are companies that will require authorization under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR) as of June 30 2024 and December 30 2024, respectively.

Do you want more information about CASPs? CASPs are primarily regulated by the AFM. Please visit: AFM CASP-Licence.
