There are four categories of DNO.
- A DNO for acquiring or expanding a qualifying holding (Section 3:95 of the Wft).
- DNO for specified acts of banks (Section 3:96 of the Wft)

Submitting your application
You may submit through My DNB. You need e-Herkenning (e-Recognition) to use this.
Be sure to complete the form truthfully and in full, and add all required documentation as an annex to the form. The application form for a group DNO is not yet available. Do you wish to apply for a group DNO? Please contact DNB.
Standard of your application
We can assess your application only if you submit a fully and correctly completed application form and enclose all the required documents. If you fail to do this, we will have to ask you to supplement your application. Our 62-business day consideration period will not start until we receive you complete application. This means that the time we need to consider your application greatly depends on the standard of your application and the attached documents.
