Reporting obligation for the DORA Information Register and automatic feedback on data quality checks

Through this news page of the Reporting Service, we would like to inform you of several practical reporting-related matters concerning the reporting obligation for the DORA Information Register, which has been available in the Reporting Service since last week.

  • In brief:
    • The reporting obligation is listed under reference date 31 December 2026.
    • The submission deadline is 20 March 2026.
    • The report must be submitted in xBRL-CSV format.
    • To support institutions, the report may also be submitted using a standardised Excel template, which is made available in the Reporting Service. DNB will subsequently convert the Excel template into the standard xBRL-CSV format.
    • Reporting framework version 4.0 applies.

  • Automatic feedback on validation checks
DNB forwards the submitted reports directly to the EBA. The EBA subsequently performs several technical and data quality checks, the results of which are automatically made available in the Reporting Service as a ‘validation report’. Note that the receipt of the EBA feedback report (‘validation report’) may take several hours. Any errors identified must be corrected by means of a resubmission.

Please note: As in previous years, DNB has enabled the functionality for institutions to request a resubmission themselves for this report. This can be done via the “Re-report” button in the details of the submitted report. The resubmission will then be available immediately.

  • Additional data quality checks
In early April, the EBA will perform additional data quality checks focusing on the consolidation structure (form B_01.02) and third-party ICT service providers (form B_05.01). If you receive feedback on these checks, DNB expects the identified findings to be corrected through a resubmission.
