New FINREP reporting version as of reference date June 2026 following the addition of EMT and ART tables

As part of the implementation of the Markets in Crypto Assets Regulation (MiCAR), De Nederlandsche Bank is making a limited amendment to the existing FINREP reporting framework.

This amendment concerns the addition of three tables within the existing FINREP structure for the reporting of Electronic Money Tokens (EMTs) and Asset‑Referenced Tokens (ARTs).

  • Only institutions that issue EMTs and/or ARTs are required to complete the new tables.
  • Specific additional validation rules apply to these tables.
  • The new version of the FINREP templates (version 6.0.0) applies as of reference period June 2026 and is available under “User Documentation” in the Reporting Service. An updated manual and a release note can also be found there. The reporting obligation will be visible in the Reporting Service as of 1 July.
