Frequently asked questions Supervisory applications service
What do I need to know before I start?
- Do you need to both view and submit applications and reports? Then you will need eHerkenning with the “Supervisory applications” service with at least level 3 (EH3) security level.
- If you only need to view applications and reports (i.e. not submit them), then you can also log in with a My DNB account with authorisation for the “Supervisory applications” service.
- You can find more information about eHerkenning and help with registration here (links to an external site).
- For the frequently asked questions below, we assume you are logged in with eHerkenning.
Do I have access to all applications when I am logged in?
After logging in, you can access any applications or notifications you have created or submitted. You can authorise other My DNB users so they can see the applications or notifications you have created or submitted.
Who can view my saved and submitted applications in My DNB?
Applications and notifications are visible only to the person who created/submitted them. They are not visible to colleagues who have an eHerkenning login token for the same institution and are authorised for the Supervisory applications service.
My colleague takes care of my business during my absence. What should I do?
If you create or submit a form using the Supervisory applications service, you are the only one able to view and edit this form and to receive notifications from DNB related to this form. However, you can also authorise other My DNB users within and outside your organisation to view active and submitted forms. This allows multiple users to view or work in the same form. Authorised users can also access items related to the form, such as messages and requests for information. Please note that each individual form requires a separate authorisation.
To activate the authorisation function, a connection must first be established between two users. Once this has been established, the users can authorise each other to view and edit forms. You can find more information about authorisation in the authorisation manual on this page.
My colleague who normally submits all applications to DNB is leaving my organisation. What should I do?
Ensure that the departing colleague has authorised several people for submitted forms/applications before actually leaving the organisation. The departing colleague’s eHerkenning token must also be cancelled. If you fail to do this, no one will be able to access the applications submitted by this colleague (see FAQ: Who can view my submitted applications?)
My submitted application is not visible in My DNB. What should I do?
It can take some time for submitted attachments to applications to appear in the list. If the attachment is not visible after one day, please contact our Information Desk at info@dnb.nl or call 0800 020 1068 (freephone in the Netherlands) or +31 20 524 91 11 (if you call from abroad). The Information Desk is available on business days between 9:00 and 15:00.
What can I do with Authorisations?
Using authorisations allows multiple people to view or work in the same form. Authorised users can also access items related to the form, such as messages and requests for information. You can find more information about authorisation in the authorisation manual.
What is the maximum size of attachments?
Each attachment to an application or notification may be up to 300 MB in size.
What file types can I upload?
You can only upload PDF documents (not JPG or JPEG) and Excel files in the Supervisory applications service.
Can I withdraw or replace an attachment after submission?
No, this is not possible. You can contact your account supervisor to remove the attachment from the submission and/or add a new attachment.
