Register of premium pension institutions
Below you can read exactly what a premium pension institution does. And what you can find in the register. Finally, we will explain how you can search the register.
What does a premium pension institution do?
A premium pension institution (PPI) offers pension schemes in which the premium is fixed, but the amount of the actual pension benefit is not. These are referred to as defined contribution schemes. In addition, a PPI may also serve as a consultant, intermediary, authorised agent or indirectly authorised agent in the Netherlands.
What can you find in the register?
For all activities, a PPI must have a licence from DNB. The register contains the PPIs with one or more of these licences.
How do you search the register?
In the first box, select a financial service. In the second box, type the name of an institution or part of the name, and click ‘Search’. You can also leave this box empty to get the complete list. Clicking a search result will take you to a detail page with more information about the PPI.
