In the 20 May 2025 report DNB finds that the outlook for financial stability in the Netherlands has deteriorated due to geopolitical tensions and high economic uncertainty. In particular, uncertainty around trade, international cooperation and government budgets has risen sharply in recent months. Against this background, European and international cooperation remains essential. DNB sees that Dutch financial institutions have solid buffers to cope with an uncertain future.
