The purpose of the Order on the Designation of DNB Supervisors (Besluit aanwijzing toezichthouders DNB) is to designate staff members of De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) who are responsible for among others monitoring compliance with the Financial Supervision Act (Wet op het financieel toezicht), the Pension Act (Pensioenwet) and the Obligatory Occupational Pension Schemes Act (Wet verplichte beroepspensioenregeling).
The DNB staff members designated by virtue of this Order have the status of supervisor within the meaning of section 5:11 of the General Administrative Law Act (Algemene wet bestuursrecht) and therefore have the powers specified in Part 5.2 of that Act.
