
Balance of Payments Reporting Instructions 2003 (RI 2003)
Pursuant to Article 7 of the External Financial Relations Act 1994 (Wet financiële betrekkingen buitenland 1994 – Wfbb), residents must submit information and data to DNB that are relevant to the compilation of the Dutch balance of payments. DNB has elaborated the reporting requirements in the Balance of Payments Reporting Instructions 2003 (RI 2003).
The purpose of the RI 2003 is to ensure that DNB meets its obligations to the European Central Bank in terms of balance of payments and international investment position statistics. The data and information DNB requests for the purpose of compiling the Dutch balance of payments are also used to determine the international investment position of the Netherlands.
