Peter Blom has decided to step down as a member of DNB’s Supervisory Board. He had earlier resigned from his duties on a temporary basis on 7 November 2022. Blom has been a member of DNB's Supervisory Board since 1 September 2021.

The reason for his decision is the unclear outcome of potential proceedings against Triodos Bank. He was chair of the bank’s Executive Board until 21 May 2021. To eliminate any semblance of a conflict of interests, Blom had previously resigned from his duties. He feels it is undesirable to continue his position as a non-active member of the Supervisory Board, given that legal proceedings could still be instituted, while their duration is uncertain.
Blom says: "It is with pain in my heart that I resign this position. I have thoroughly enjoyed my role in the relatively short time I have served on the Supervisory Board. I hope I have been able to make a meaningful contribution."
DNB respects Peter Blom's decision to take this step. The Supervisory Board and the Executive Board DNB thank him for his constructive contribution during his membership.
In the period ahead, the Supervisory Board will consider his succession.
