Short bio

Aishameriane Schmidt is an Statistics Analyst at the Statistics Division and a Ph.D. candidate in Econometrics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam & Tinbergen Institute. She holds an MPhil degree in Economics with a specialization in Econometrics from the Tinbergen Institute and a Masters degree in Economics from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). In her Ph.D. research, Aisha investigates how to use machine learning algorithms combined with econometric models to analyze macroeconomic time series. Before joining the Statistics division, Aisha was an Economist at the Economics and Research Division also at DNB.
