Period for processing an application for authorisation
De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) decides on an application for authorisation as a payment processing service provider, in principle, within 13 weeks of receipt of the application. How long DNB actually needs to reach a decision depends, however, on many different factors. Factors that have a particular bearing on the length of time needed by DNB to assess your application are its quality and completeness.

If your application is incomplete or incorrect, you will be given a deadline by DNB for supplementing your application.
Please note: As soon as DNB requests further data or information to supplement the application, the period for decision is suspended until the date on which DNB receives such data or information. If DNB does not receive (sufficient) supplementary data or information within the period specified by it, it may decide to disregard the application.
