DNB charges a fee for considering applications for authorisation as an insurer.

The fee applies regardless of whether we issue or reject the application or the applicant withdraws the application, or we cease consideration during the procedure.

Application fee 

Fees are charged for processing a permit application. The amount of these one-off costs is set out in the Regulation on the financing of financial supervision of one-off actions (Regeling bekostiging financieel toezicht eenmalige handelingen - Dutch only).

Fee for regular supervision

We also charge insurers an annual fee to cover the costs of our regular supervision.
