DNB supervises different types of financial institutions. This dashboard provides an overview of the pension funds, i.e. company pension funds, industry-wide pension funds and occupational pension funds, and insurers, i.e. life insurers, funeral expenses and benefits in kind insurers, non-life insurers and reinsurers that come under DNB's supervision.
Thanks to buoyant stock markets worldwide, Dutch pension funds recorded strong price gains of almost €36 billion on their equity and investment fund shares, according to macroeconomic data from DNB.

The Dutch conduit sector is shrinking faster than previously assumed. This is one of the findings of a five-yearly revision of the balance of payments figures, the results of which are being published by DNB today.

Liability-Driven Investment funds (LDI funds) mainly invest in long-term government bonds and long-term interest rate derivatives. The use of these interest rate derivatives exposes LDI funds to liquidity risks in case of large interest rate fluctuations.
