Other sectors
This category comprises firms not in the categories of non-financial corporations and non-profit institutions. They are not principally engaged in the production of goods or marketable non-financial services. They include “other financial institutions” such as financial holding companies and captive finance companies, and “special financial institutions” such as holding and finance companies, and royalty companies.
We ask potential reporting entities in these sectors to complete a population survey form and use the information collected to decide whether a reporting requirement is necessary.
