13 February 2026 - DNB Labour Market Network Event
On 13 February 2026, De Nederlandsche Bank hosted the first DNB Labour Market Network Event. This one-day event brought together researchers and professionals working on labour market issues. Experts from both within and outside the Netherlands came together to share insights on key challenges and developments in labour economics. The programme featured research presentations with discussants, as well as plenty of opportunities for networking and exchanging new insights. Topics covered during the event included minimum wages and labour-market concentration, wage inequality linked to multinationals, self-insurance in turbulent labour markets, job loss and occupational mobility, optimal job retention, macro-poverty, wage dynamics under inflation expectations, and gender wage gaps.
