DNB charges a fee for considering applications for authorisation.
The fee applies regardless of whether we grant or reject the application or the applicant withdraws the application, or we cease consideration during the procedure.
The fee for consideration of an application for authorisation as an electronic money institution is EUR 6,800. This fee is specified in section 5 of the Financial Supervision Funding Act (Regeling bekostiging financieel toezicht eenmalige handelingen).
Fee for regular supervision
We also charge electronic money institutions an annual fee to cover the costs of our regular supervision on these institutions.
Applying for authorisation
DNB has conducted a series of examinations to assess financial institutions’ compliance with sanctions regulations and, more specifically, whether their compliance operations are fit for purpose. We are happy to share the results of these investigations.Read more
