Pursuant to Section 2:3b of the Financial Supervision Act (Wet op het financieel toezicht – Wft), the statutory consideration period is three months following our receipt of a fully completed application.
We will handle your application as soon as we have received it, first verifying whether you completed it in full and enclosed the required documents.
The application procedure comprises various steps. For example, we may ask you to provide supplementary information and – suspending the deadline for consideration – schedule a meeting with you or screen your enterprise's decision makers. The time we need to handle your application greatly depends on the quality and completeness of your application and the supplementary information you provide. If we find these to be insufficient we may need more than three months to reach a decision.
