Anyone who provides payment services in the Netherlands must either hold the appropriate authorisation issued by DNB or be excepted or exempted from such authorisation.
Published: 18 August 2016
If you wish to apply for authorisation, you can submit your application through the online service Supervisory applications. You need e-Herkenning (e-Recognition) to use this.
The notes provide more details and describe what we expect from you, so please refer to them when completing the form.
Be sure to complete the form truthfully and in full, and add all required documentation as an annex to the form.
Only if you send us a fully completed, high-quality application form with all the required documents enclosed can we consider it.
If you fail to do so, we will ask you to supplement your application. Our three-month consideration period will commence once the application is complete. This means that the time we need to handle your application greatly depends on the quality of your application and the enclosed documents.
Do you have any questions? Please contact DNB Information Desk on business days between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm (0800 020 10 68 in the Netherlands, or +31 20 524 91 11 if you call from abroad) or by email (info@dnb.nl).
