DNB charges a fee for considering applications for a licence as a bank.
The fee applies regardless of whether the ECB issues the licence or the ECB or DNB rejects the application, the applicant withdraws the application, or we cease consideration during the procedure.
We will assess your draft application free of charge. The fee for consideration of an application for a licence as a bank is EUR 31,500. This one-off fee is specified in Annex I to the Financial Supervision Funding Act (Wet bekostiging financieel toezicht - Dutch only).

We also charge banks an annual fee to cover the costs of our regular supervision.
