Below you can read exactly what a pension fund does. And what you can find in the register. Finally, we will explain how you can search the register.
What does a pension fund do?
A pension fund administers the pension scheme agreed by employers and employees in a pension agreement. A pension fund manages and invests members' pension contributions, pays out pension benefits and takes care of the administration involved. Read more about pension funds.
What can you find in the register?
Company pension funds, industry-wide pension funds and occupational pension funds must register with DNB when they start up. General pension funds must apply for a licence with DNB upon establishment. The register lists all company pension funds, industry-wide pension funds, occupational pension funds and general pension funds. The register only lists active pension funds. You can find premium pension institutions (PPIs) in a separate register.
The register is updated every workday at 06:00 AM.
How do you search the register?
In the first box, select a type of pension fund. In the second box, type the name of a pension fund or part of the name, and click “Search”. You can also leave this box empty to get the complete list. Clicking a search result will take you to a detail page with more information about the pension fund.
