How does DNB deal with real estate valuations in the financial sector?
We believe it is important that the banks, insurers and pension funds under our supervision apply sound real estate valuation procedures. This means valuers must meet specific quality criteria. The AFM's Guidance on Real Estate Valuations (Leidraad Vastgoedtaxatie, in Dutch only) gives an adequate overview of these criteria.
