Short bio
Presently, Sînziana Kroon is team lead in the European Banks Supervision Division of De Nederlandsche Bank. Previous positions include policy advisor and coordinator in the Supervisory Policy Division (2011-2018), and seconded official to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (October 2017- April 2018). She holds an M.Sc. degree in Finance and Investments from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, and is completing a PhD thesis at Maastricht University. Her research interests include the impact of policy reforms on financial institutions and derivatives markets, monetary policy and cryptocurrencies.
