Inflation differentials as rebalancing mechanism in the EMU: the case of the Netherlands
The Netherlands (NL) has experienced higher inflation than the euro area (EA) as a whole. The inflation differential has widened significantly since 2020. This stems from a mix of structural, cyclical and one-off factors.
